A branding agency that builds brands people can actually use
RX is a branding agency in Egypt and MENA building strategy, identity and a bilingual system your team applies on a Tuesday afternoon without asking permission — in Arabic and English, from the same rulebook.
You paid for a brand.
You got a PDF nobody opens.
The identity looked excellent in the presentation. Six months later the sales deck uses a different blue, the Arabic posts use a font nobody chose, and every new hire invents the brand again. Research puts the gap plainly: 95% of organizations have brand guidelines, and only 30% use them regularly.
The Rulebook Does Not Fit the Work
Ninety pages on logo clearance, nothing on what a Ramadan promo post looks like. So the team improvises, and the brand drifts one file at a time.
Arabic Was an Afterthought
The identity was designed in English and the Arabic was added later by whoever was free. Now half your market reads a second-rate version of your brand.
Design Without a Decision Behind It
Nobody can say who the brand is for or what it refuses to be, so every review becomes a matter of taste and the loudest opinion wins.

Bawaba Logistics
A freight and last-mile operator with three versions of its logo in circulation and no Arabic wordmark at all. We rebuilt the identity in both scripts together and shipped a twelve-page rulebook with editable templates for every format the team publishes.
What a branding agency should hand over, and what it should not
Strategy is the part you cannot skip, and the part clients want to skip
Positioning work feels slow because nothing visual comes out of it. But without it, every design review collapses into preference, and a branding agency ends up defending a color instead of a decision. We keep this phase short and written: the audience, the claim, the proof, the things the brand will not say. Ten pages, not a hundred. When the identity arrives it is being judged against that document, which is why reviews get faster rather than longer as the project goes on.
Bilingual identity is an architecture problem, not a translation problem
Arabic script runs right to left, and each letter takes up to four different shapes depending on where it falls in a word — beginning, middle, end or isolated. A designer who copies letterforms without understanding positional forms produces text that is simply wrong. Convention places Arabic on the right and Latin on the left in a bilingual lockup, which changes the composition rather than mirroring it. This is why our branding agency work builds both scripts in parallel: retro-fitting Arabic to a finished English identity almost always produces a weaker mark in the language most of your customers think in.
Guidelines fail when they describe the brand instead of the work
The 95%-to-30% gap is not a discipline problem. Guidelines go unused because they answer questions nobody has and skip the ones people ask daily. Ours are built around the formats you publish — the social post, the deck, the invoice, the storefront — with an editable template beside each rule. A branding agency that hands over a PDF and leaves has transferred a design, not a capability. Everything we produce comes with source files you own outright.
Rebranding needs a sequence, or it becomes two brands at once
Most rebrands stall halfway. The website is new, the vans are not, the old catalog is still shipping, and customers quietly conclude something has gone wrong. We plan the rollout as a dated sequence with a cut-over point, prioritizing whatever the customer sees most. If a rebrand is not warranted, we will say so — a branding agency that recommends a full rebuild to every client who walks in is selling its capacity, not your growth.
Not sure whether you need a rebrand or a tidy-up?
We will audit what you have and tell you which one it is. Most companies need the second and get quoted for the first, because a branding agency is rarely paid to recommend the smaller job.

Common Questions Answered
A branding agency defines what a company stands for and then builds the system that expresses it — positioning, name and messaging, visual identity, tone of voice, and the templates and guidelines that keep it consistent. It is distinct from an advertising agency, which plans and buys campaigns. Branding sets the long-term perception; advertising spends against it.
A focused branding agency project typically runs six to ten weeks: strategy, identity design, then the guidelines and template build. Full rebrands with rollout across signage, packaging and print take longer, mostly because of production lead times rather than design. We give you a dated sequence at kick-off.
Yes, and this is the part most work in the region gets wrong. Arabic is designed alongside the Latin script from the first round, not translated at the end. Arabic sits on the right in a bilingual lockup and its letterforms change shape by position, so a mirrored English logo is not an Arabic logo.
Often, yes. Plenty of companies have a serviceable mark and a broken system around it — no rules, no templates, no Arabic version. That is a cheaper and faster engagement than a rebrand, and we will tell you if it is the right one. A branding agency that recommends a full rebuild by default is quoting its own capacity, not your need.
It depends on scope: a small identity and guideline set is a very different project from a multi-market rebrand with packaging and signage. We scope from the deliverables you actually need and quote a fixed price per phase, so you are not signing an open-ended retainer to find out.
You do — every source file, in editable format, including fonts licensing where it transfers. If you later work with a different branding agency or bring design in-house, nothing about your identity is locked behind us.
